The star of Zero Dark Thirty said she loved the old Hollywood glamour of her Armani Priv? gown, which she called "a very 'Happy Birthday, Mr. President'" dress. The best actress nominee, 35, brought her grandmother Marilyn as her date, and they sat together during the show.

In a golden Zuhair Murad dress that looked like the Oscar itself, Catherine Zeta-Jones, 43, with husband Michael Douglas, 68, evoked classic Hollywood. Zeta-Jones took the stage to perform a song from Chicago, which won her a best supporting actress award in 2003.?

Dustin Hoffman, 75, recently honored by the AARP Movies for Grownups Awards, walked the red carpet with his wife of three decades, Lisa, 58. He reminisced about attending his first Oscars ceremony in 1967, as a nominee for The Graduate.

Last year's best supporting actor winner is the oldest performer to ever win an Academy Award, which he did at age 82 for Beginners. With his wife of 43 years, actress Elaine Taylor, 69, at his side, Plummer reported for his Oscar presenting duties.
